The South Lincoln County Training and Events Center was built as a result of months of study and research into economic feasibility and local priorities. The towns in South Lincoln County, Kemmerer, Diamondville, Cokeville, La Barge, Opal, Lincoln County and the Wyoming Business Council are all supportive of the facility. The City of Kemmerer has been designated as the managing entity and has hired a full time staff person to support the facility and its operations.

Our vision for the South Lincoln Training and Event Center is that it be host to a wide variety of educational, industrial, social and cultural events. In this way, we can promote and sustain growth in our community and contribute to the quality of life of all our residents.

Our future endeavors include capital projects, such as expanding the parking lot and adding another partition for further room division and usage. In addition, we hope to bring events of interest to Kemmerer’s residents including performances, university and community theatre groups, professional development workshops, and more.

These endeavors and the prosperity of the Event Center are made possible through continued grants, sponsorships, and corporate and individual contributions.
